Vijayanthiran Rajamanikam Rajagi, 23, was a waiter at Swissotel The Stamford.
On June 28, a 30-year-old Caucasian flight attendant fell asleep after ordering room service at about 11.40pm.
When Vijayanthiran’s colleague went to deliver the food and did not get a response from the victim, he opened the door with a master electronic keycard, and found her sleeping.
Vijayanthiran was present when his colleague told the supervisor about it.
Vijayanthiran then took another master keycard and went to the victim’s room at about midnight.
He let himself in, and stole the victim’s electronic keycard.
Later, he used it three times to enter her room while she was asleep.
The victim woke up at around 4.30am to find Vijayanthiran sleeping beside her with his hand between her thighs.
He was jailed for seven months.
End of story.
By the way, not a pip squeak from the hotel.
Can hotel room service food delivery personnel use master keys to enter guest rooms?
I shudder at the thought.
