Truffle Heaven

I love truffles and I love risotto, and now at the year-old Casa Tartufo, Forum, Orchard Road, I can indulge!

Tammy and Alex Calabro, owners of The House of Truffles (that’s the English translation of the restaurant’s name) say “Truffle is the king ingredient in our cuisine, that is why our menu changes three times a year following the Italian truffle seasons: Winter Black Truffle from January to March; Summer Black Truffle from April to August and finally White Truffle from September to December.”

I was there last Friday and after sharing a Burrata cheese with truffle heart (S$48/-) my dining companion and I savored:

Sea-urchin and truffle risotto, S$38/-.

Saffron and Parmesan risotto, S$64/-.
