Americans journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling were arrested in March while reporting from the border between North Korea and China and sentenced in June to 12 years of hard labor on charges of entering the country illegally to conduct a smear campaign.
Last night, they went home after former US president Bill Clinton flew to Pyongyang and secured a pardon from Kim Jong Il.
Hmm I wonder if a former Singapore president will do the same for me.
I guess not, there aren’t any former presidents left, right?
