Acquired these three cherry wood pipes not long ago.
The smallest pipe – at the top, with the funny face – is a vintage cherry wood “grotesque” pipe from Austria from the 1920’s.
The one in the middle is marked on the underside “GENUINE CHERRY.”
The one at the bottom is marked “REAL CHERRY FOREIGN.”
Cherry wood pipes impart a nice flavor to the smoke.
At one time, cherry woods were the only pipes I could afford and these three bring back so much nostalgia!
