Sharing some quotations:
“Timidi numquam statuere trophaeum” – The timid never erects monuments. I’m not sure who said that but I like it.
“When the rate of change outside exceeds the rate of change inside, the end is in sight.” – attributed to Jack Welch, ex CEO of General Electric.
Another one like is attributed to Nietzsche who said “Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster himself.”
And one of my favorites:
In Germany they first came for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me – and by that time no one was left to speak up.
