When in Cuba I bought a whole bunch of Behikes, Sancho Panza Belicosos, Romeo y Julieta wide Churchills, Montecristo As, Sancho Panza Sanchos (Gran Coronas), etc – they are still cheap, even after paying tax in Singapore (I paid S$1085.47 in taxes for the cigars and pipe tobacco I brought in) – but I’m really enjoying the cigar pictured above – the Cuaba Diademas.
It is the largest Figurado from Cuba – 9.2 inches (233mm) long, ring gauge 55. A giant perfecto.
Medium flavor which develops into a leathery, woody tone as you smoke it.
Each cigar is individually wrapped and boxed. How convenient!
Interestingly enough, Cuaba was officially launched by Habanos president on November 19, 1996 at Claridge’s Hotel in London.
