Welcome, that is if you've managed to check in!
Usually a couple of days before my flight, I would get a SMS from SIA with words to the following effect:
“SQFltInfo – You are booked on SQ308 SIN-LHR 03-Aug-11 09:05hrs (T3). To check-in please reply with Y38210 only.”
I would reply accordingly and then without fail, I would receive this SMS:
“SQFltInfo – We apologise that we are unable to check you in. Please check-in at the airport.”
This has happened each and every time I fly.
I repeat: “without fail.”
Yup, this from supposedly one of the best airlines in the world; an award-winning airline.
