A 32-year-old married woman, (a former teacher), was charged in court last Wednesday with four charges of having sex with a 13-year-old student, one for performing oral sex and another charge of committing an obscene act.
The alleged offences occurred at Sembawang Park, at a staircase of an unknown block in Choa Chu Kang Loop, a staircase landing of an HDB block in Yishun Ring Road on July 7th last year, and at her home on July 18th the same year.
(In October, a 32-year-old former teacher, who is also married, was jailed for a year for having sex with her 15-year-old student.)
What’s with staircases and staircase landings? There seems to a proliferation of shady going-ons at such cringe-worthy places! Just read your local papers! Molestations and rapes all seem to happen at staircases and staircase landings. Hardly stairways to heaven, are they?
