Food at a Funeral, Served by Dead People

I ate at two eateries recently: Eat@Taipei at JCube and Jang Shou Korean Charcoal BBQ at the Esplanade.

Food was nothing to shout about and the service sucked big time.

I thought I was at a funeral. The wait staff at Eat@Taipei obviously lack facial muscles enabling them to smile, ditto those at Jang Shou, where we spent nearly 500 bucks. Employees serving us were mainly Filipinas with long, grouchy faces. Nothing Korean about it.

As far as I’m concerned, I’m never going back to these two places.

I must be very stupid to spend money at establishments where the food is mediocre at best, and where the zombie-like staff don’t welcome customers.
